PSD2 - Revised Payment Services Directive that obligates banks to open APIs to third parties that will initiate payment transactions or retrieve customer account information on behalf of the user, with the user's prior authorization.

Third parties are considered legal entities that have been licensed by the regulator to be able to perform the above payment services and may act as:

PISP (Payment Initiation Service Provider)- authorized legal entity licensed to initiate payment transactions on behalf of users
AISP (Account Information Service Provider)- authorized legal entity licensed to retrieve user transaction account information

TIS solution enables unhindered communication with third parties in accordance with the agreed PSD2 rules and schemes, and thus includes:

  • developers portal
  • receipt of requests from AISPs regarding retrieval of transaction account information and submission of information on said accounts
